Quad bike safari on the fell (one or two hours) Mon-Sat at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Enjoy an adventure on quad bikes on the Ruka fell!
After a short introduction on how to handle the quad bike, driving up the hill on the quads. Enjoying the magnificent scenery and a drink/ a snack during the pause.

River Rafting Adventure on river Kitkajoki (3 hours) Mon-Sat at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The excursion starts with equipping and a car transfer to the Käylä village. At Käylä the professional river rafting skipper will give a lesson in rafting, and the trip on the rapids can begin! On this 13 km route we experience altogether 7 rapids. A break will be taken at the Pohjantähti camp, or by the campfire while enjoying coffee and a sweet bun.

The most spectacular Rapids of Kuusamo (4 or 6,5 hours) Mon-Sat at 2 p.m.
After equipping with river rafting equipment, transfer by car to Juuma village, where the conquest of the biggest rapids of Kitkajoki will start. The route follows the rapids Niskakoski, Myllykoski and Aallokkokoski to the Jyrävä fall. The rafts will be dropped down the fall, and the group will pass this impressive fall by foot. At Jyrävä campfire by the smooth waters, enjoying coffee and tea with grilled sausages. The rafting trip ends at Vattumutka, from where a car transfer to Ruka.

Follow the Kitkajoki river all the way to the Russian border!
From Vattumutka the trip continues towards the border in the splendid sceneries of the Oulanka National Park. Several long rapids for altogether 7 km, classification I.

Canoe Trip for the whole Family (3,5 hours) Mon-Sat at 10 a.m.
The canoe trip to the Käylä village starts with a car transfer to Kiveskoski. The guide will give you an introduction to the secrets of canoeing. The route passes in wonderful lake and river sceneries in the quiet nature. A pause will be taken to enjoy coffee and a sweet bun by a campfire. Distance on canoe approximately 7 km. The trip ends at Käylä, from where a car transfer to Ruka. The route is easy and suitable for beginners as well.

Floating in the Rapid (2,5 hours) Mon-Sat at 2 p.m.
After equipping with floating suits, life vests and helmets, transfer to the rapid. The guide will give instructions on floating and off you with to the stream of the river! The rapid will be floated in small groups, and a soft drink will be enjoyed on a break. After floating car transfer to Ruka.

Visit to the Husky Farm for the whole Family (1,5 hours) Tue, Thu, Sat at 1 p.m.
Transfer by car to the nearby husky farm, where the husky farmer welcomes the guests. During this trip you will get acquainted with the life of the dogs. Coffee and juice will be enjoyed during the excursion.

The Basics of Fishing (2 hours) Mon, Wed, Fri at 1 p.m.
After equipping, a short walk to the lake Talvijärvi. The guide will give an introduction to spinning and angling. With the possible catch the guide will also show you how to handle the fish. After fishing returning to the Safarihouse by foot.

Midnight Sun with the Bears (6 hours or 12 hours) Thu at 6 p.m.
Meet the largest predators of the Finnish nature safely with a professional guide. From the hide-away observing the bears possibly roaming nearby. Good opportunities for photographing. The price includes guiding and picnic lunch.
